Our Dermalogica pro skin services are structured in a customisable way for you to have the best experience possible.

Our Pro skin treatments range from 30 mins - 60 mins. We structure these treatments in 10 minute intervals based around your skin concerns and desires. Here is how we base our average treatment structure for pro skin services:

10 min - touch therapy

10 min - double cleanse & face mapping

10 min - resurfacing & product boost

10 min - deep treatment 

10 min - facial massage

10 min - dermal layering

Within our consultation we discuss which modules are the most important to you. For Example, Your main reason for coming into the salon is for relaxation with no skin concerns. In this case we may extend our facial massage module to 20 minutes and remove time from other modules. If you have skin concerns you wish to treat a little more in depth we may opt out of the massage module and power up your treatment with devices or add on chemical peels etc. for a more result driven service.

Our pro skin services utilise Dermalogica essentials skin care range which allows this service to be the perfect introduction into starting your facial journey. This service allows us to get to know your skin, strengthen your barrier and prep you for advancing your treatment.

FAQ

how often should i get this done?

​

- When using active skincare at home like Dermalogica we recommend you receive this treatment every 4-6 weeks. By utilising products within your home care routine it helps prolong your results so we can stretch treatments out to 4-6 weeks apart.

I don't know where to start/Ive never had a facial

​

- That is totally ok! Beginning your facial journey can be super overwhelming. We are here to help guide you on your journey of skin. We love to educate and no question is a silly question ever! To start your journey we recommend choosing our 'First facial treatment' option. This allows us to discuss your concerns via thorough consultation and curate the perfect treatment plan for you.​

I want results fast where do i start?

- We are so happy that you are excited to start your skin journey! For our more result driven services we recommend either our Dermapen 4 skin needling or our skin fit facial services. These services combined in rotation allow us to achieve the fastest results. We recommend having a consultation with us prior to starting these services.

Advanced pro skin services

​

Our selection of advanced pro skin services include, Pro Firm, Pro Calm, Pro Clear & Pro Bright. Our range of advanced pro skin services are 1 Hr 15 min treatments.

Similar to the Pro skin services above we structure these treatments the same way however, we utilise power ups and advanced techniques to accelerate the results from your service. Our Advanced pro skin services utilise Dermalogica's advanced product ranges for example:

Pro Firm - We utilise potent anti aging ingredients via Dermalogica's Age Smart skincare line. We may also utilise strategic massage techniques to lift and firm the skin. If your concerns are aging, dull skin, fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation this service would be the best one for you.

​

Pro Calm - Our pro calm service is our gentle option for barrier impaired and sensitive skins. We utilise Dermalogica's Ultracalming skincare line to soothe redness, rosacea and sensitivity. This treatment is perfect for strengthening & soothing the skin.

Pro Clear - Our breakout focused service. Our pro clear service can look very different for every skin type. We may treat in a 2 part process. If inflamed acne and redness is present we will focus on calming and treating the skin prior to resurfacing or other acne focused treatments. If the main concern is blackheads or congestion (also applicable once inflamed acne is gone) we may opt for extractions and resurfacing methods. Dermalogica have 2 amazing acne focused skincare lines one for teen breakouts (clear start skincare line) and one for Adult acne (active clearing skincare line).

Pro Bright - Our pro bright treatment targets pigmentation, melasma, dull skin and post inflammatory pigmentation. During our thorough consultation we discuss which type of pigmentation you may have and how we can help to reduce it. Within our Pro bright treatment we utilise Dermalogicas power bright system including advanced serums and peels to reveal your healthy glowing skin.

What if i have multiple concerns listed above?

- Depending on your concerns we may be able to treat multiple within the same treatment. We recommend selecting your main concern above and we can discuss customisation within the treatment to target other concerns all at once. Our Pro firm treatment is our more advanced option and allows us to push results even further than our other services.

What if I'm pregnant?

​

- We are able to customise our treatments to be pregnancy and breastfeeding safe. However these services will not be as advanced due to altering ingredients used. We recommend our pro skin 60 service for pregnancy clients

How many treatments will i need to see results?

​

- Our Pro skin services are amazing for results however everyone's results will be very different so the number of treatments changes per person.

Pro Power Peel

​

Our Pro power peel service is one of our more advanced facial options. By utilising Dermalogicas Pro power peels we are able to customise, spot treat concerns and patch work peels. We are able to treat multiple skin concerns all at once. We are able to enhance this treatment further by utilising masks or accelerators.

​

Our pro power peel works by lowering the Ph level of the skin with our skin prep solution. We then utilise the lowered Ph level of the skin to apply one of our targeted peel solutions. We are able to watch the skin carefully and we will discuss with you your sensation levels. We are able to apply up to 3 layers (First timers we may stick to 1 layer). Once the peeling process is complete we neutralise the Ph level of the skin with our neutraliser solution. We will then proceed with either accelerating the treatment or apply a contouring mask for extra lifting and firming of the skin.

Our peel solutions -

Ultra Bright - 

Targets a range of pigmentation concerns from melasma to post inflammatory pigmentation and more. This peel contains a lactic acid complex along with further brightening ingredients to instantly brighten, reduce fine lines & hydrate the skin.

Advanced Renewal - 

Our advanced renewal also targets a range of hyperpigmentation concerns while addressing aging concerns. This peel contains a glycolic acid complex. Instantly brighter and smoother skin.

Power Clear - 

Power clear is a salicylic acid, mandelic acid & malic acid powerhouse trio. This incredible formula also includes a patented Terpineol-Thymol Complex. The power clear peel is amazing at targeting blemishes, Diminishing excess oil production and reducing post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
